  兩種時刻,一與二、過渡、漸層、躁動、接近與到達、離開與回返,然後是存在與消失。

  生活的地方,像是聚集著有著不同時刻的人們,共擁著關於此地的不同想像,在沒有交集與充滿差異的意識裡流動與過渡,似是事物離開了既有的表面、是並行的時間,或說這裡與那裡的差異。兩種時刻像同個緯度的不同時差,相互追逐、靠近與漸變。

  關於這個地方的位置是什麼,這裡如何被描述,在不同認同的氛圍中,意識到如何指認這個地方,或者說這個時刻的困難,一個存在的島但不存在的指稱。在尚未成形的島上,身體就像是存在著兩個時間點,一方面在確認,另一方面在遠離與否定,貌似趨近了某個位置,卻也什麼都不是,不斷接近但也無法到達;我想像在空間裡,視線在看見與確認的來回中,簇擁著不同時刻相互關聯與對照。

Two periods of time, one and two, transition, gradient, repulsive, approach and arrive, depart and return, then there’s existence and extinction.

Our habitats, gathers those who comes from various state of times, they have different imaginations of the same place, fluctuating within the divergent and disjoint consciousness, things that have changed over time, seemed like the difference between this place and the other. Two periods of time are like the different time zones on the same latitude, constantly catching up one another, approaching and shifting.

Regarding what this place is, how it was described. In a multitude of sympathized ambience, one realizes how to indicate the specificities, the challenge of it, like how an island exists but one has no idea of how it will be described. Before the island was formed, the polarity of the two states of time exists, one being assertive, the other contrasts. It’s as if thinking one is approaching somewhere but there goes nothing, an endless loop. In my imaginary space, among the cognition and feedbacks, is filled with connections and reflections between those different periods of time.



空間說明

在空間中,觀眾會先走入一道三層樓高的樓梯,是展場入口,也是作品的起點,步上階梯,逐漸往上靠近,像是正在接近某種事物,或靠近某個地方;在紅色的地墊上,鋪上以數量作為漸層的藍色地毯,直至一個全藍地面的空間,而地墊的紅色成為燈光,緩慢移動於空間當中。

紙張的小至大、格線與天花板的輕鋼架、階梯的往上移動,鏡片的整體與不完整、門的可見與無法進入,是一種狀態到另一種狀態的逐漸靠近與過渡;空間裡身體移動的經驗(階梯的爬升)、原初建築的附加與刪減(天花板)、空間裡的空間(門),我在想像一個關於這裡與不在這裡的狀態,接近與未至的過程。



Room Description



Within this space, the audiences is firstly introduced by a three-floor tall stairway, that would be the entrance, as well as the origin of this art piece. Once reaching the top of the stairs, it is as if we are trying to get acquainted with something, or trying to reach somewhere; On the red mattress, covers a layer of red to blue gradient, which consists blue mattresses that gradually being placed more densely together till the far side, the red color on the mattress becomes light, subtly weaving through the space.

The scale from small to large of the paper sheets, the tiles, and steel frames on the ceiling, the upward movement of the stairs, the wholeness of the glass, the visibly apparent door that is not accessible, the entropy between two different statuses shifting; The momentum of the body moving upwards (the climbing stairs), the patching and removing in the construct (the ceiling), the space within the space (the door), I imagined the status between what’s here and what’s not,  the process between approaching and non-arrival
